I had a Moultrie i40 + modem (also Verizon) and sometimes the Moultrie gave me photos several days late, (too late to act on) while the spycam was reliable as the sunrise

The photos that are forwarded to your account are respectable even though the photos are very compressed to ease the transfer to a phone or computer

I have bushnells and these perform just as well, better signals with both the Verizon and AT&T , I assume this is due to an actual antenna

Camera won't communicate in an otherwise very strong signal area.

Tech support essentially told me that that happened sometimes, but they weren't sure exactly what caused it.

No way to reset it manually according to tech support, you just have to wait

Tech support emailed me some files for a firmware upgrade, which did not fix the issue.

Tech support says they do not offer refunds, but that I can send them the camera for repair.

Nothing would get it working, including an investment of about 3 hours on the phone with SpyPoint Tech support.

Use a good SD card, not a micro adapter SD.

I purchased 3 cards just to use with this, and none of them worked (all high quality Sandisk).

but I have read that sometimes cards can be too fast for the hardware it's being used in.

The app is totally unreliable, the camera is now taking totally black pictures, the solar battery charger is questionable and their support department is extremely hard to get ahold of and when you tell them what is going on they try to blame the batteries, where you have the camera set up at, the firmware, the Sd might need reformatting etc etc .

The app works well, and the plans are the cheapest deal going.
