The caddy with separate, removable cups is great for distributing scissors to different tables and work groups, and collecting the scissors.
Otherwise, the caddy is sturdy, the scissors are very well made and we've been really happy with them so far
She uses her left and right hand for cutting.the scissors work with both hands easy.
One of our sons is left handed and the other is right handed, and they can both use these without an issue.
The only complaint I have is that if she holds them at a slight upward angle, they don't cut the paper, just slide over it and bend it, like trying to cut left handed using right hand scissors.

Most classrooms have 26+ students, my kids have 28+ students, with one class at 32.I would still recommend this set, and like it better than the fiskars set.
