It got great reviews, and when I googled "raincoat waterproofing" it's what came up

I question the UV protection and it seemed to accelerate fading compared to the same fabric that was not treated

I am very disappointed as I want the UV protection as much as the water proofing.

I bought this for a boat cover mostly for the UV protection, however I am very impressed with the waterproofing results.

My fault for not reading the label carefully enough but the prior order bottles are exactly the same as these only missing the small lettering as UV protection.

Because of the coating, there's no more pooling (water runs off very quickly).I hope that the UV protection is as good

Bought to use on our gazebo top, it's a canvas tent like material

We used this on our new gazebo top prior to putting it up at the end of Spring.

I have only used the solvent based on my polycotton canvas gazebo top and a couple of Coleman nylon tents

We used tons of star brite products on the boat and now while on land---primarily use it now to treat our gazebo top.

I bought this to add additional rain protection to a new gazebo top which was labeled as water resistant.

Sprayed this on griddle cover & seems to work as advertised

Time will tell but after over two months so far I can highly recommend.

few places (pop outs and seam on rain canopy) used this entire gallon on the tent to exact directions and it kind of worked, but still leaked to some degree.

Using a small wizzy roller worked best and fastest application

I probably overdid the application, but it has lasted for over 2 years on a gazebo that had leaks straight out of the box

So I basically wasted my money.

does not last more than 30 days not worth the money.

i applied it in the sun and let it sit for 6 hrs and reapplied a second coat the next day same way on the third day we had a rain storm and the rain was running thru the material like a shower nozzel would not recomend wasting the money on a subpar product

Don't waste your money on this product, buy the 303 - even though it's twice as expensive.

The smell isn't overpowering, but you probably won't want to let the fabric dry in your house.

I'd recommend it for gazebos that have no water resistance (as was our case)

Used pressure pumped sprayer to apply to 3 10 by 10 Canopies, great water resistance for the entire season

Only reason I say not 100% is that some of the cushions are a little moist inside after rain but that may be my fault for application error (i may have missed a spot).I started using a sponge as the directions advised, but it was taking way to long and not getting good coverage, so I swapped to a spray bottle

but I believe it was because I missed that spot.

The previously weak spots stayed super dry but some other damp spots emerged
