STARESSO Portable Espresso Machine - Manual Espresso with Rich & Thick Crema, Mini Coffee Maker Using Ground Coffee & Nespresso Pods, Handy Espresso Maker for Travel Camping Office Home Use

    • It really is an incredible bit of kit, I haven't used anything else to brew coffee since I bought it 1 months ago
    • I wish it was made of a bit more hefty material or a heavier plastic
    • It makes relatively good espresso--perhaps a bit more bitter than that at a coffeehouse, but there's a chance that's due to the type of grounds I'm using
    • It takes on average about 30 or so pumps depending on amount of coffee, as pressure builds in the tank it does become a bit harder to pump as pressure builds and it takes more than half of the pumps before espresso begins to spray into your cup, but it is worth it
    • A teeny bit fussy to clean (make sure you keep track of the tiny filters and O-rings and don't run them down a drain or lose them in the trash), but otherwise nearly perfect.
    • Meantime I'm being a little gentle -- pumping a bit slower than my normally eager, impatient self would -- in case it was overly enthusiastic pumping that caused it to fail
    • i'm using my Baratza at the finest setting and i think any finer would probably clog up a bit or end up with a difficult to pump shot.only
    • Clean up is a bit of a process but well worth it when you are saving money by making espressos at home.

    • It takes quite a bit to clean it thoroughly, but I guess it's better than having another appliance on the already full countertop
    • The Instructions are lacking a bit for first time use, it has 3 pages in any given language - Assembly Diagram, Basic Instructions and Functions and Frothing Milk and Cappuccino
    • We also got a hand grinder for beans and while it takes a bit of time to grind enough beans, it is no problem in the scheme of things

    • I'm knocking it a bit because it's claim of 20 bars of pressure.
    • A little bit difficult to use, and the coffee tastes not as I expected
    • It was still watery and bland, and the texture was still completely wrong... and I wasted quite a bit of coffee just to get that far
    • Unscrew the water/pump cap and dump the tiny bit of water remaining
    • " the boiling water through the coffee and pull out your shot glass, the temp has already fallen a bit and is not what I'd call piping hot.
    • It is a little bit messier than I would like
    • I don’t have those yet and it slows down my preparation.-Don’t bother with the pump on the Staresso to froth
    • n’t fine your coffee grounds too much
    • n’t recommend buying this product because of its flawed design mechanism
