I have to say this makes an awesome cup of espresso / cortado

Heats everything up and helps keep that 1st cup nice and hot.

Speed (maybe 3-4 total minutes from the boil to warming cups to pumping out a shot and enjoying)It's no Rancilio Silvia or Gaggia Classic (or other entry-level semi-auto machine) but this will make a more than palatable shot

In the time it takes to produce 1 cup of decent coffee and clean up (about 20-25 minutes), I could've made 30 lattes

Dumping out the cup of grinds to refill and make shot #2 is plain difficult as the grinds still have water in them and you'll need to rinse everything and dry it before making the second shot

It was very easy to set up and use and made a pretty decent cup of espresso with a very nice crema!

Clean up is quick - the biggest catch is that it's pretty easy to make a mess of your sink/counter if you're not careful in disassembly or cleaning out the coffee grind cup.

My process is: heat water in our Keurig in the lowest cup size, grind my espresso, run a small amount of hot water through the Staresso to preheat everything (and get the grounds cup wet to help contain the grounds better), dump out the water from the grounds cup and glass, load up the grounds (I usually fill it, then tamp it down pretty tight with the scoop, add a little more, and then tamp it again), fill the water reservoir, pump it until it resists pretty hard (this means that the water has filled the grounds cup), wait about 30-60 seconds, and then finish pumping until I have a wonderful cup of espresso

It's mostly time consuming to clean out the little espresso shot cup (and doing that even 2x, takes about double as long as using a normal espresso machine you can "whack" to get out the puck)-A bit worried about the glass the coffee goes into

It is the easiest and cheapest way to get a decent cup of espresso!I recently found out I could use Nespresso capsules, which made this even more useful because I now no longer have to clean up the grinds

Only feedback is the cup is loose in the holder and moves up and down quite a bit, might pose a risk of breaking it not sure yet

This literally gives the perfect cup of espresso every single time and it's so easy to make other drinks

Issues:*Making a double-shot is a bit of a pain literally because you have to touch the very hot silver cup to empty the old grinds and requires washing it out along with the filter.*I never was able to get the milk frothing to work with the device and every time I tried the plunger would get stuck.

The downside to your one great cup of hard won espresso is making enough for all the people at your campsite

UPDATE 1: I used my old Staresso cup, and both filters on the unit failed

It makes a decent cup of coffee but nowhere near espresso

Second, the press comes with 2 cups that are actually glass and seem to be custom made for the press, so if you break both cups.....i guess you're going to have to jerry rig something up

I don't always make espresso, so I didn't want to buy a machine, therefore I use this as my main espresso maker (and it doesn't require electricity!).To get a good cup you have to warm the water well, pressurizer, and cup with hot water

That’s gonna keep the cup warmer for when it receives the espresso therefore the espresso will stay warmer too

If it is not placed just right in the glass cup, the top part will put pressure on the measuring cup handle and, as it is screwed on, the continuous pressure will cause the measuring cup to crack
