Speed (maybe 3-4 total minutes from the boil to warming cups to pumping out a shot and enjoying)It's no Rancilio Silvia or Gaggia Classic (or other entry-level semi-auto machine) but this will make a more than palatable shot

Dumping out the cup of grinds to refill and make shot #2 is plain difficult as the grinds still have water in them and you'll need to rinse everything and dry it before making the second shot
-
I'll say first that you get a pretty good shot of espresso out of here
-
In short if you're super careful with the tons of parts this comes with, don't lose a thing and have ample perseverance and persistence, this can yield a great shot.

Lastly, the shot it makes, while neat looking at first, with all its cool crema, is a lie
-
so I looked up a quick video on Youtube and within minutes I was enjoying a nice shot of espresso
-
It pulls a very nice shot as long as you use inappropriate bean and grind
-
So I can't tell you if it makes a perfect shot of espresso to creama ratio
-

The first few tries I got a lot of grounds in my glass, giving it a gritty texture and basically ruining the shot

-
Pros:Once you get the hang of it, it makes a great shot of espressoMuch cheaper than most other espresso makersManual process means it can be used anywhereEasy to cleanCons:Rather loud when pumping once it reaches full pressureThe holes from the grounds to the cup are larger than they should be, making the process to get a good shot of espresso without grounds getting through pretty complicated
-
I don’t have those yet and it slows down my preparation.-Don’t bother with the pump on the Staresso to froth
-
n’t fine your coffee grounds too much
-
n’t recommend buying this product because of its flawed design mechanism
