Our son will turn it on when he wants us to make hot chocolate or chai tea

I use this to boil water for both hot tea and for making coffee in the French press.

So I decided to fill the carafe below the watermark and the roaring boil still overflows and spits the hot water or tea onto the countertop

Since it’s my husband and myself I use it for hot tea and pour over coffee maker.

It heats water to boiling super fast, and that is great for my hot tea!

We really like that this kettle is all glass, including the spout, and that the inside of the lid has a stainless steel surface.

The metal plate is very thin compared to my old one and it arrived with noticeable dings (my old one looked and felt more like a bottom of a steam iron but this one looks like a thin aluminum sheet).

Blue light shuts off when the water is done boiling.

It's fast, it very nice to watch the water come to boil and the blue light is pretty.

I love this thing my daughters think its cool its lights up and boils for a minute or so...no more than 2 minutes tops and boom the light goes off your hot water is ready.
