I've seen some complaints about low volume, but I've found that jacking up the headset volume slider on the Xbox One and then using the volume dial on the headphones gives a nice range from ultra-quiet to painfully loud.- The wireless transmitter has a 3.5mm Line In and Line Out, so you can connect it to your TV or home theater

First, the range on this headset, destroys the range on my Corsair Void RGB, it's nearly 3 times the range, I can listen to my music, and walk my dog around my house, and still get signal (albeit choppy at times), comfortable, the void gives me headaches during a long gaming session, but since my head isn't being smooshed by any metal with fabric over it, it's comfortable all day

My only problems are that it needs the receiver to be wireless, and the battery can sometimes be unpredictable

Mic broke after 5 months, one month later the battery started to die and does not reach full charge.

For some reason, there is no way to disable this "feature" and makes the unit pretty damn annoying to use

After opening the package I immediately tried them and was surprised at how uncomfortable they are due to the fact that they have no adjusting for different head sizes making it extremely annoying and aggravating that a $120 headset would overlook that feature.

I'd like to find a wireless 2.4ghz headset w mic that will not power off automatically (or such that I can disable that feature), is over-the-ear, closed back, and is minimalistic

The steel series engine software prompted me to update a critical firmware that became available

But after a while the squishyness of the ear cups start pull the headset too close to your head and the insides hurt your ears

Also after 4 hours your ears will start to hurt because of the padding

I currently wear glasses and don't experience too much discomfort, and my ears never really get hot from using this for long periods of time

So after about 2 hours your ears will be sore because of the hard plastic being pressed on your ear ridges

After a steady 5 hour session of constant wear I found that my ears did get a little hot but they stayed completely dry, showing no signs of swamp ear or any issues with suctioning them off for so long

The hard plastic rests directly on my ears and the headset "clamps" pretty tightly

The earcups are too shallow, so my ears were jammed right up against the hard plastic

Edit: I've had another failed firmware update and my headphones just got bricked.

The updates are very very drastic as in do not mess up since you can mess up your headset.

I did not need to wait two days and spend more of my time describing the issue so that another support tech could tell me what I already knew, that my headset was dead due to a failed firmware update.
