I don't like the Arctis as much for music and movies as the BW/BO options.
The only problem I found on this headset is that is not very comfy for people with big ears (or big heads), sadly makes my ear get red every time i wear them for long periods and it just doesn't feel right, for the price i would expect something better or at least an option to buy bigger earcups
If you primarily game on an Xbox there are better options for you
I have talked with support and asked various things but support does not go past the basic scripted responses when you ask about things Also since no plans are to improve volume with better options besides 2 settings and turning the equalizer to max on every line if you have any issues of hearing stay far away from this headset and company and just find yourself a sound card that will give you the options you might need or want
There are much better options then these out of the box.-Update: 4/1/2018 The sound improvement for this version and not the Wireless edition like other reviews are talking about has improved but still overall semi low compared to other options for same price PC wise
The headset is very well built, maybe a little on the heavy side in comparison to others but still very comfortable
If you get a chance to try these in person before buying them I would, because everyone's ears like different soundscapes, and if you manage to enjoy the soundscape of these and can get over the mic quality they are a very well build headset.
Pros:-Light, you can easily forget you're wearing them-Ski Goggle band is extremely comfortable-Headset is well built, don't think you'd manage to break them without heavy abuse-Wireless
The headset is well built, for the most part, I'm worried that the cups will fall off at the hinge their connected at
The comfort is good, but you never forget you have them on your head and your ears won't sweat
For the very high price point I expected MUCH better comfort for the ears.
Cons:- General comfort
Comfort is great and the mic picks up very well (make sure you position it properly).
The quality of the manufacture is very excellent - the sound is good - the comfort on the head is good but after three hours feel the pressure on the ears - my assessment 4.5 / 5
Obvious downside of these is price, there are a lot of options at the 250 price point
Love the mix and mute button, the adjustments on it would be the straps to have more of a reach for those with smaller heads, and after a while it hurts ur ears but the sounds great and it’s good for a cheap enough price
Cons:-Hefty price, but it's worth it compared to other $200-$300 headsets-Optional leather ear pads cause damage to speaker, read below-Any issue you may have after powering on the system, such as low mic volume or not being recognized initially after powering on your system, is fixed permanently by using an external usb power source other than the ps4, read below
Jack- Reasonably comfortableHere is what I like less:- Price
Audio is a very subjective topic but for me, $300 is a steep price to pay when I can get an equal sounding pair of headphones for a third of the price (HyperX 2)
Overall - I was hesitant to buy another steel series due to the cheap plastic swivels they use for each ear cup - but then again - it did last me for FIVE years which isnt too shabby for a wireless headet
I never had an issue again with the device not being enabled after powering on the system and my mic volume has continued to work as
I'm confused as to why something at this price range has such an unadjustable headband and such a small one
The mute button has a nice texture which is easy to find while in game, but it's made of cheap plastic
(It lasted me a solid 5 years total) until I cracked the stupid plastic swivel that held the left cup to the rest of the headset

, they sent back another email saying the RMA was declined, without giving any reason at all.
I never had an issue again with the device not being enabled after powering on the system and my mic volume has continued to work as
Once I did this, they declined my rma, stating: "We are so sorry to inform you that your RMA request has been declined and the RMA number will be void from our system
So weeks have passed, it still doesn't work, they have declined an RMA without a reason, they won't talk with me, and I can't find a way to call them.
ALSO I had to RMA the headset ONCE back in 2013 due to cracking the swivel within the first 2 weeks of usage
