I don't think they make memory foam desks yet, so the natural quality was uncomfortable as s***!!Anyway, I started looking for the mid size Taito and came across SteelSeries other lines of pads including the Mass and the Heavy

As a result, the feeling is more "cushier" and you do not feel the texture of the surface the pad is resting on
Has a great feel to it, the track of the mouse is right on, never deviates from it's pattern.
It is quite weird, but it feels almost as if instead of a silky smooth feel, it's like the mouse is floating on hundreds of small ball bearings
Ontop of that, on this product, where the steelseries logo is shown, it's not embroidered onto it, like normal cloth mousepad logo's are, it's printed onto it, so it's raised & feels like rubber when you touch it, therefore messing up your mouse tracking
With my prior hard pad, and with the super large PTFE feet of the Avior, the mouse just skittered about all over the pad with no control (I hadn't felt that issue with prior mice), so I got this to have better control, and never expected it to also have such an incredibly soft feel.

It's a little thicker than what I'm used to but all-in-all it's good quality material and works great.
The softer material of the QcK mass did take that problem away, but introduced another one with its God awful smell

The material is very smooth and allows for very quick movement of my mouse
Adequate size, good textured cloth material, the rubber grip keeps it in place, and doesn't move even with fast/ rough mouse movement, takes time getting used to.

Its thickness is just right for gaming and the texture is great too!
Recently was playing on a slightly uneven surface and the extra thickness really came into play and helped me ignore it while playing my games.

The QCK fits both worlds perfectly and provides a smooth, excellent tracking mousepad in a very manageable size
Has a great feel to it, the track of the mouse is right on, never deviates from it's pattern.
Laser/optical mice track very well on this mousepad, as well as provides a bit of cushion if you're one to drag the heel of your hand around your desk.
I found this for $12 locally after tax, so I can't complain as it was well priced compared to other mouse pad options.
The pad is not super gooshy or plush, it does take considerable force to smash your wrist into it, this is so it gives a solid tracking feel, but it still is comfy to use
