This mouse has a fantastic feature set marred by a mediocre execution and a few reliability problems.
-
Overall, its a good mouse that has other superfluous features I won't do into as its more a preference thing you can choose to use or not use.
-
There are some gimmicky features that may necessities for some, but definitely welcomed bonuses for others like the RGB lighting and vibration alerts
-
The custom LED feature is alright
-
Quick fix and a really neat feature once you find a use for it!
-
Some of the stand out features include: the ability to quickly and seamlessly switch the mouse's resolution, the ability to customize and create a rapid fire button, and by far my favorite feature: "Game Sense"Game Sense is currently customizable for a few games including CSGO, Minecraft, and Dota 2 and can be configured to give you feedback for a wide array of in game events like: heath

Mouse has great accuracy and response and lots of great features
-
I'd stop short of calling this feature a gimmick, but it isn't executed well.
-
Unfortunately its most innovative feature, Gamesense, only fully supports 3 games at the time of this review

Note that nowhere on the SteelSeries web site do they list games supporting this feature; I suspect that they got commitments for more games that either fell through or that haven't been released yet
-
I love the thumb lockout feature so that you can rest your thumb on the buttons
-
It's heavy and has features useless to FPS
-
I didn’t buy it because of the rumble that they call tactile alerts, but that feature is really fun
-
Most buttons are easy to press and and not too loud, the only exception being those on top outside edges, which I assume is to prevent accidental striking, colors are nice and custom illumination is a neat feature.

This was advertised as a key feature of the mouse, with nothing stating it only worked for 3 games.
