I feel much safer using glass, as other materials can leech too many toxins and chemicals

I still am careful to make sure it doesn’t sit boiling for longer than a few seconds just to be safe, but luckily the whistle top lets me

All in all I wish the lid was still usable as the teapot was exactly what I was hoping for

I did notice the lid got quite hot and would have to use a potholder to take it off.

Lovely to look at, easy to clean, holds 12 cups, fully functional, with a nice whistle!

It hasn’t shatter like my other more expensive tealyra brand tea pots did when heating up water

I like that i can brew large amounts of tea at a time whether hot or cold brew

The handle is not breaking off anytime soon, it is supported by a metal band
