As opposed to other cheaply made treads in this price range, I find this one to be sturdy, minimal to no belt shift, good for long strides, good for running (not only walking), steady use, easy to assemble with decent assembly instructions that anyone can follow

Assembly was easy.

I've owned several machines from the big ICON guys (think ProForm, Golds Gym, Weslo, etc.) and this one is just as good as most of their entry level line too, even better in several regards including bonus features and easy, fast assembly.
