So far great, installed this 12v supply, and the basically identical 5v supply available here as well, for an expansion cabinet to support additional graphics cards external to PC cases

You can buy name brand converters with on/off switches, shielded plugs, meters and fancy cases but in the end, they all do the same thing - change 110AC to ~12V DC.

For the amount I've used it, the power supply has worked perfectly so far.

The fan is not real noisy in my small room so this is not a real issue.

Ordered on April 19, 2018, now the cooling fan is on continuos and it is below the rage of advertiement and no warranty plan
If you aren't diligent about blowing out dust, the fan will complain after about a year, but just cleaning it resolves that issue.
