This VTI set really stood out because of its HUGE adjustable height range.

Pay close attention to the dimensions of the top plate (6.5in x 8in) when making your decision.

Whereas some people might prefer some kind of speaker anchoring on the top plate, I prefer a simple flat plate that I know will work with any and all bookshelf type speakers

They we're the easiest to assemble, but once finished, they looked nice and did the job

If your mounting stands on anything other than carpet (and agree with C.) you'll need to put something under the base plate as the finish isn't smooth enough to insure no damage (new wood floor and wife would kill me) if the stands get moved

II's on, which is a pretty hefty bookshelf, and these stands do a great job of it.

they're made of all steel and cast iron, and relatively easy to put together, which is a good thing because the instruction sheet isn't much help, its pretty much a packing list.

These things are SOLID.
