Reviews around value (4.79 of 5)

  • Pros:-Great price-Great value for a beginner quadcopter-Easy to use/learn-Decent video and pics-comes with SD Card and reader-fun trick flip buttonCons:- light, so difficult to use in even mild wind- video isn't really HD imo..it is if the copter can remain completely still, but moving around it gets grainy- battery life is short...maybe 6 minutes...buy extra batteries!- for the money I don't expect auto-hover or other advanced features...but doesn't come with them if you need them
  • Months later, another parent returned the drone as it had finally fallen out of the tree
  • I have other drones and this one is the best value for your money!.
  • We felt confident that with its high Amazon rating it would be a good product as well as a good value
  • This adds a little to the cost, but still a fabulous value

Reviews around price (4.65 of 5)

  • It is good price, the range is good and it is a stable drone in flight.
  • It is exactly what I wanted and the price was just right.
  • This is a great starter quadcopter, and the price is right … even if you lose it and have to replace it, or break certain parts and have to repair
  • I would rather they include more batters and bump the price up a bit.
  • I guess I should have expected that the price was too good to be true.

Reviews around toy (4.62 of 5)

  • Would be a very frustrating toy without them.
  • There are additional batteries and chargers that would extend the flying time, but right out of the box it is a fun toy!
  • This is a great toy drone for people who are wanting to get into drones
  • The drone looks like a cheap kid toy not worth $40.
  • n’t go wrong for first time Newbies

  • The camera's awful, but this is absolutely the cheap quad to get
  • Very sweet quad copter with excellent handling and response
  • Great little quad copter that is perfect for a beginner like me
  • It can be a bit grainy, and it sometimes has the same issue with the craft vibrating as most quads in this price range do

Reviews around quadcopter (4.18 of 5)

  • Months later, another parent returned the drone as it had finally fallen out of the tree
  • Manual is pretty weak English translation, but the quadcopter itself is pretty good.
  • I gave it five stars because it's a cheap quadcopter with a camera.
  • fun to fly, a great learner quadcopter, only down side is it doesn't come with extra parts
  • In general, this is a good quadcopter for someone who has never flown one before

Reviews around copter (4.18 of 5)

  • Doesn't require much tinkering to establish stable flight unless you mess with the stock weightBad (but not really):- Beware of wind this copter will drift easily if you aren't careful- Light so it easily can get caught in trees or small branches if your quad connects with themAll around good quad for beginners.
  • The only downsides I've found so far have been that the copter has around 50, up to 75 feet of control distance before it loses signal
  • great drone copter, but would be better if there is instruction included
  • Very sweet quad copter with excellent handling and response

Reviews around thing (3.45 of 5)

  • Completely junk, couldnt fly the thing over 50 feet away
  • It is very crash resistant...a good thing for beginners
  • And the quad has better ventilation for the battery as a result (a good thing)
  • As soon as you are 50ft or further away from the drone this thing will lose connection and just
  • Good thing too, because I suck at flying them apparently.

  • The camera is decent, and the video quality is not bad at all

Reviews around control (2.42 of 5)

  • Wind will catch it and you lose control if to high and there is a breeze.
  • The controls are responsive and easy to use, although the trim buttons don't seem to do much
  • It went too high in a very short period of time and I lost control of the drone
  • The controls seem easy to use and the machine is very steady & balanced.
  • For the 16 minutes I got to fly it before I lost control and it flew away

Reviews around time (2.14 of 5)

  • He flies it with his Dad and they have great bonding time over it
  • However, after finally getting it back, it works like it did the first time out of the package
  • I've crashed it a few times and not so much as broke a propeller
  • Got this for my hubby and he has been having a good time with it
  • I've crashed it several times and the beast still fly's on strong.

Reviews around wind (2.14 of 5)

  • A little over a month later, the tree lost its leaves and the strong winds blew the Syma out of the tree.
  • The wind had blown it down the previous night apparently
  • This doesn't handle wind very well but given how light it is, that makes sense
  • Wind will catch it and you lose control if to high and there is a breeze.
  • way too light any little wind will blow this drone away so far that you'd be lucky if you find it again.

Reviews around crash (1.91 of 5)

  • I didn't feel nearly as bad crashing this one as my neighbor did crashing his $1000 dollar drone.
  • We were flying it in an open soccer field and no crazy crashes but the skid guards/landing gear already broke on one side on day 1
  • This has crashed and burned a few times but keeps going, amazing, I would also recommend the case also as it offers protection and has extra space for propellers, batteries, memory card charger, all in one place
  • It took a minute to get used to how it moves, but I've only had one but puckering crash so far and it looked worse than it was.(hitting the 'up' lever right before it goes down makes any crash look graceful
  • It wasn't a bad crash - we've definitely had worse - but one of the motors quit working after that

Reviews around connection (1.85 of 5)

  • The connection between the transmitter/ controller was not very accurate and one could very quickly lose control through either wind or going out of signal range.
  • As soon as you are 50ft or further away from the drone this thing will lose connection and just
  • The connection between the transmitter/ controller was not very accurate and one could very quickly lose control through either wind or going out of signal range.

Reviews around motor (1.64 of 5)

  • I have noticed that one of the motors stops spinning long before the others so it could be a bad motor that is causing this.
  • This thing worked at first, then the motors just stopped working
  • They are def going to crash this a lot and ruin the motors
  • The motors, props and spare parts are plentiful and it is incredibly easy to repair this quad
  • i'm afraid i'll have other problems with motors not working or the same issue.

Reviews around interest (1.49 of 5)

  • both drones were as good as the first one I
  • Son lost interest in it because it charges for hours and he gets to play 5 minutes after waiting for it to charge.
  • Very hard to control and kids will lose interest in this real quick use it three or four times and that was it

Reviews around propeller (1.33 of 5)

  • I think the batteries and charger were a good investment, but because I installed the included propeller guards, I have yet to even break 1 propeller.
  • My propellers are weak, and cracked after hitting the wall of my house
  • Broke the propellers and did a little more cosmetic damage but after replacing the propellers, was like new again.
  • Fragile, propellers come off easily and broke shortly after purchase.
  • One propeller stopped working by Friday

Reviews around signal (1.33 of 5)

  • The only downsides I've found so far have been that the copter has around 50, up to 75 feet of control distance before it loses signal
  • i don't know where that one guy got that footage from that he left is his review because our drone never had any footage like that and never ever got that high without losing the signal and freefalling back toward earth
  • both drones were as good as the first one I
  • but when you get very high the remote signal is so delayed
  • I have had it out farther and have gotten it back but lost signal and scared me real good but again was able to get it back home and land real nice.

Reviews around landing (1.29 of 5)

  • My carpet and furniture is a little easier on hard landings
  • A few dozen hard landings already and its still flying perfectly fine
  • The motors are exposed more than some in this class and between hard landings and a using in a field of fine dirt, I've replaced each motor at least twice in the first 5 weeks
  • It has survived a few hard landings, even on my neighbor's driveway

Reviews around prop (1.26 of 5)

  • I had too much flying--and crashing--to notice that the spare props were missing when I first opened it; so I didn't bother returning.
  • Checked to make sure it was dry, cleaned the caked dirt out of the gears, replaced the broke prop guard, put in a new battery, and turned it on
  • , the drone didn't break, prop didn't even get messed up
  • Right out of the box the propeller guard deals that help keep the props from breaking when you crash it, interfered with two of the propellers so they would hit it
  • They work well in the house, although we cracked one on a crash already, didn't bend a prop though!

Reviews around break (1.00 of 5)

  • I've wrecked it into the house and trees and nothing has broken or stopped working
  • I couldn't have been disappointed when it refused to fly straight and the battery connector broke after the first use.
  • I've crashed it a few times and not so much as broke a propeller
  • Months later, another parent returned the drone as it had finally fallen out of the tree
  • It was missing the landing struts, one of the light lenses, and had broken plastic

Reviews around phone numb (1.00 of 5)

  • I lost my drone in some trees in June, luckily I put my phone number on it and when someone found it in November they called
  • Thanks for the tip I saw on a prior comment about putting your phone number on it
  • Put your address and phone number on the bottom of the drone, it's very easy to lose track of if you fly it in the suburbs
  • Thanks to the person who said write your phone number on it we are still playing

Reviews around replacement (1.00 of 5)

  • The worst that has happened is losing a few blade guards but replacements are cheap and easy to put on.
  • Months later, another parent returned the drone as it had finally fallen out of the tree
  • Ordered a replacement motor (fairly cheap), all was well until transmitter decided to stop controlling the vehicle mid flight
