As soon as you are 50ft or further away from the drone this thing will lose connection and just

Worked great for a couple weeks, now it looses connection randomly and sticks with your last remote command

then you have intermittent connection which can cause erratic flight and result in a crash; I'd say to really start flying there is a decent learning

i've had it lose connection and just cut off mid flight

but if its aloft in wind and the battery dies you will loose connection and crash....

When synching controller to drone, make sure drone is on a level surface and sitting still for easier connection
