SYMA X5C 4 Channel 2.4GHz RC Explorers Quad Copter w/ Camera

    • (I've already gotten it stuck in a tree and battered it out of the tree with a long pole, after which it came crashing onto the asphalt when my g/f failed to catch it)
    • We were flying it in an open soccer field and no crazy crashes but the skid guards/landing gear already broke on one side on day 1
    • After I flew this quadcopter perhaps 8 charge cycles, w/no hard crashes, the drive gear set on one of rotors inexplicably bound up.
    • Great quad, I'm buying a second one, one problem, you don't know when the battery is too low to fly and when you fly it with a low battery you have a chance of it crashing really bad, I had a few 500ft falls with this and only 1 prop broke
    • This has crashed and burned a few times but keeps going, amazing, I would also recommend the case also as it offers protection and has extra space for propellers, batteries, memory card charger, all in one place
    • great quad until it lost control and crashed into a tree
    • It could have been from a hard crash that was my fault
    • It has taken some good crashes and always is in one piece.
    • but if its aloft in wind and the battery dies you will loose connection and crash....
    • I ended up crashing it in the pool and it doesn't work anymore
    • This has crashed and burned a few times but keeps going, amazing, I would also recommend the case also as it offers protection and has extra space for propellers, batteries, memory card charger, all in one place
    • And seeing as how crashing is seemingly inevitable, having it be more sturdy would be nice
    • Works very well and it takes a crash like
    • I've probably taken about 20 flights (under 10 mins each) and have had a few decent crashes (mostly on grass) and it's holding up well
    • We've had lots of bad crashes and it's still in good shape.
    • It's crash-resistant (good for a newb like me!) and easy to fly.
    • It took some nasty crashes at the start and it held up we'll
    • It wasn't a bad crash - we've definitely had worse - but one of the motors quit working after that
    • Very light so minimal damage if any when crashing.
    • Built tough...survived trees and crashes
    • It took a minute to get used to how it moves, but I've only had one but puckering crash so far and it looked worse than it was.(hitting the 'up' lever right before it goes down makes any crash look graceful
    • I didn't feel nearly as bad crashing this one as my neighbor did crashing his $1000 dollar drone.
    • It wasn't a bad crash - we've definitely had worse - but one of the motors quit working after that
    • It has been crashed a number of times
    • Months later, another parent returned the drone as it had finally fallen out of the tree
