The only downsides I've found so far have been that the copter has around 50, up to 75 feet of control distance before it loses signal

High altitude is fun, but it will lose its signal.

i don't know where that one guy got that footage from that he left is his review because our drone never had any footage like that and never ever got that high without losing the signal and freefalling back toward earth

I have had it out farther and have gotten it back but lost signal and scared me real good but again was able to get it back home and land real nice.
