This is as close to a perfect product as I have ever used!I only have one extremely small quibble
For perspective, I also own a Zoom H4 and wired lavalier microphones, several other vocal microphones, on-camera microphones, and have owned a few Zoom H4n's (which I replaced with the H6 - a much better product)

You could run it inline with other equipment also; like recording a Lav before it goes out to a wireless transmitter; or use it to record a video shotgun mic and send the signal to the camera, acting as an attenuator if need be

The headphones are not so good but to monitor the audio levels is just perfect.

If you do a room floor noise at the begining of a take, and in audition do some noise canceling the audio is amazing
Take the time to learn the functions, tweak it a bit in editing, and you'll have some great audio
It records beautifully, and even sounds better with no interference concerns, and the clean crisp audio is what I would expect out of something much more expensive.
