Nice looking kettle, with nice design and quality stainless parts

It is a very nice looking kettle and I was excited to receive it

It's a nice looking pot and easy to clean, but I would not buy it again.

This was a lovely looking and feeling and working tea kettle.

Stainless steel looked dull and discolored after just a few uses

I don't know what the health implications are for drinking water from a rusted "stainless steel" receptacle, but will be in touch with the maker

The tea kettle is stainless steel and very easy to clean.

The kettle itself is heavy and substantial stainless steel - not flimsy or cheap.

As a surgeon I appreciate good surgical stainless steel

it boils fast because of the large bottom surface-area, the handle is high enough that you can pick it up bare-handed, and the whistle/spout is easy to operate

2 rust spots forming after 2 weeks of use and also the handle to pull off the top to fill with water has now broken

The handle does not get hot, which was an issue we were having with our old one.

Can be a little tricky to pour when the handle gets hot.

But you cannot touch the handle without a hotpad or you burn your fingers.

I recently moved and my new house has an Induction stove top and this was one of the few items that I could use before I bought new pots and pans (it's magnetic).

I had a fancy Mackenzie childs tea pot from my wedding and was over that style

Well it heats water more quickly than an open topped pot for French press or tea or whatever

I literally burned the pot and melted all of the plastic parts

Finally, because of the inner copper layer, the pot holds heat well, and even an hour later the water is warm enough for a second cup of tea or coffee

The ceramic teapots will not work with my ceramic stove and this will work well for all hot water needs.

This teapot looks beautiful on my cooktop and functions well.

I already had a nice loose leaf tea infuser, but it was still nice getting an extra one with this kettle as now I can do 2 cups at once using loose leaf tea as opposed to doing one cup at a time

This particular tea kettle -- with its shiny luster and beautiful design -- is exactly what I have been looking for

I couldn’t send this poorly designed piece of junk back fast enough

They either sent me a used unit or this is a horrible design flaw.

Rivets on the spout and trigger are extremely poor quality, and are destined to fail very soon

Looks good but quality is questionable, returned it the next day.

My primary desire when I bought this tea kettle was that the whistle alerts me when the water boils.

Water boiled keeps its heat for quite a while thanks to the thick metal base

The big base at the bottom allows maximum heat transfer from stove, so water boils quickly.

The kettle seems to be poorly constructed and leaks steam from just about every opening, except the whistle, which makes the whistle barely audible

It just leaks hot steam and water from the lid and very little or no whistle.

I checked it a few time to ensure the lid was secure and it was on properly

Sometimes the top lid doesn't close, because it's a little difficult to put back on, and when that happens, there is boil spittle coming out of the lid

I've burned my fingers a bit trying to remove the difficult lid, while hot.4

The top lid does not seal well, so some steam leaks from the lid; the pot has a nice trigger to hold open the cap, but it does not lock open — no big deal; QUITE OBNOXIOUS, the seller will not give you a care guide unless you send them your cell phone AND email — pathetic for this price!

When I poured it the lid fell off and the steam burnt my hand horribly

Overall, I would not buy this kettle again due to the excessive noise.

It was stressful noise: not a pleasant way to start the day

As soon as heat was applied, it startled making loud cackling and popping noises, like I was making popcorn
