so now it can also be used to set my Pioneer turntable Needles to exactly the right alignment from the rubber ring on the back of the head shell to the needle tip

I ordered a new Technics Head Shell and new Shure Stylus and needed something to set up and align to proper specs

Perfect gauge for the needle overhang on my AudioTechnica LP120-USB.

What can I say this gauge is great easy to use and makes aliment of your styles much quicker

It’s good but not the correct gauge for a plx-1000 (2mm short)

Using a warped gauge will throw off your alignment and cause premature, uneven wear to your stylus and records

and if you're good enough at squaring the cartridge in the headshell, there's no need for a protractor.

Easy to use... just square your cartridge up in the head shell and you're good to go.

Then using the protractor, I found the cartridge was very square to the grid pattern, without having to slightly twist the cartridge one way or the other using the alignment protractor only
