Upon receiving and setting up this very expensive machine, what immediately struck out to me was the low quality components this coffee maker was made of

No more replacing my Keurig or fighting with their warranty department, who tell me to clean the machine and send me weird dodads that help clean the machine but eventually quit working!

I expect that this beautiful machine will do the same.

Conclusion: nice machine, but not worth the price tag.

Great Coffee Machine

Over the intervening thirty years, I've always lingered enviously over the store displays whenever I encountered them, but never made the plunge—the machine was just too expensive

We are pretty fussy about our coffee and buy good beans and now we can get the most flavor from our beans with this terrific coffee machine.

I read some of the complaints of other reviewers and if you like a simple machine that does what it's supposed to then just ignore the poor reviews.

If you like outstanding, smooth, rich drip coffee.. this is your machine.

I favored that machine over this auto drip version KGB741 simply because it has fewer moving parts to become clogged, and also has a better carafe and handle design

The Breville and other machines like it are bulky boxes that take up a lot of counter space and might be too tall to fit under one's cabinets.

How odd, elegant machine with unsanitary feature, that is awkward to resolve.

The biggest plus is that the brewing temperature is precise, and higher than less expensive machines

The coffee does come out hotter than what you'd get from a Mr. Coffee machine, so if you like your cup of joe extra hot, this is a good machine for you

This machine is expensive when you compare it with some of the other SCAA certified machines (basically 2x the cost)

These are all things that will add to cost, and really, what's wrong with also wanting a GOOD LOOKING machine, they do sit on the kitchen counter

In any case, this machine is FAST—faster than you've ever experienced

Regardless, the coffee tastes amazing every time and the machine is super easy to clean and to use.

Temp for water is spot on as advertised and the coffee ends up being just as good as if I had made the cup on a pour over or french press.

I'm not sure if it was broken as I was taking it out or it was broken before or broken while taking out the dripper.

No need for the bigger version (and I obsess about having enough)This maker elevates coffee, makes okay coffee good and good coffee great
