A near arcade-perfect conversion of one of the best fighting games of all time, Tekken 3 is an essential PlayStation title that belongs in...
Graphics: 8/10 - The characters can be a bit see-through, but the backdrops are fabulous and it's extremely clear when you've done a Judo chop to someone!Sound: 9/10 - Great fist fighting, realistic sounds and cool music brings Tekken 3 blazingly alive in the sound area
8/10While there's no Street Fighter-style semi-incoherent yells, the sound effects are better than what you see in most fighters and the music isn't too annoying either
Sound(4/5):Sure,the screams are a little annoying, but the music is great to listen to and get you riled up while you're fighting an opponent
The music is neat, too, but that's really a matter of personal taste
The music is mesmerizing and suits the fighters so well
If you want to pull off the really impressive looking moves in Tekken 3, you have to press a bunch of buttons on the controller in a really complicated way in order to complete a move that COULD have been made *much* easier with a very simple and quick sequence of buttons
The ps3 actually boosted the look of the game a little bit.
The character models are detailed and very well-constructed, and the beautiful textures that cover them smooth them out and make the fighters much more realistic-looking
They include Anna Willaims, a great villain who not only is better than Ogre but also Nina's sister, Julia Chang, a good looking woman and a skilled fighter, but she really has got to do something about her hair, Eddy Gordo, a really cool 50-Cent like hero who dresses in yellow & green, Forest Law, brother of the awesome Marshall Law who he's just as fast & skilled as, Kuma, a cool looking grizzly bear fighter who really knows how to bring down the house(literally)and Panda, her brother is

Tekken 3 is one of the best games that I have ever played on the Playstation
Tekken 3 is the best game i have ever played and i recommend that anyone that has a playstation buys this game as it is a must have for all people, beat your way through the game with any of the 24 characters and become the iron fist champion
PSX orginal graphics never looked so goodvery addictive gameplayNice soundtrackNice selction of charavertsBeautiful FMVsTekken Ball is awsomeCons:Game evanually runs out of funThe game is pretty easy(after playing Tekken Tag on ultra hard all the time)Where's Lee and Kazuya? Not many cons, so it's definitly a must buy for any fan of fighting games.
I've laways enjoyed playing to it, and Namco has included both the original arcade music and a new, remixed music set made especially for the PSX version
I personally think this is the best playstation game they have come up with yet
10/10 - Lots of things to do, lots of martial arts moves to learn, heaps of blood, a barrel of fun - Tekken 3 is one of the most entertaining, overall amazing PlayStation games to come out in a long time!
I don't like Tekken Force mode, a side-scrolling thingy where you fight soldiers with strange names like Hawk
The extra modes are all very entertaining with Tekken Force being the best: a 3-D Streets of Rage
As for the difficulty of the game, it of course features three modes, easy, normal, and hard
You get Gon when, after releasing enough characters you get and win the Tekken Ball mode
Other modes are included like tekken ball (a painful kind of volleyball) and tekken force (kill heaps of hopeless badguys on the streets) are fun for a while but they are just novelties and aren't anywhere near as enjoyable as arcade and versus mode
The punches and kicks and battle-cries are full of energy and vigor, and differ depending on who and what has been attacked by whom
For those of you who have not played the Tekken game series, it is a 3D fighting game; that uses the same button configuration as Street Fighter 2 (Fierce Kick, Medium Kick, Weak Kick)

A near arcade-perfect conversion of one of the best fighting games of all time, Tekken 3 is an essential PlayStation title that belongs in every gamer's library--especially now at its bargain-basement Greatest Hits price
While the one-on-one combat here is essentially two-dimensional, highly detailed 3-D character graphics and a roaming camera viewpoint give this game a distinctive 3-D look
Gameplay is fast and furious, with simple controls that are easy to learn
This game also allows for special moves and combos to be executed with relative ease
Various modes of play are available, including "Tekken Force," a one-player side-scrolling brawler
Chock full of goodies--most of which remain hidden until certain requirements are met--Tekken 3 rewards players' persistent endeavors with secret characters, alternate costumes, and yet another mode of play, Tekken ball, a bizarre variation on volleyball
Also, beating the game's arcade mode allows players to view a beautifully animated epilogue that's specific to whichever fighter they used
And once you've seen one, you just have to see them all
--Joe Hon Pros: Near arcade-perfect conversion Multiple modes of play, including Tekken force minigame Lots of hidden features Beautifully animated epilogues for each fighter Cons: 2-D background graphics
