With the same bright green color throughout, lack of anti-aliasing, and the frame rate issues, BotW can cause literal headaches
-
The game does have frame rate issues
-
Wii U version does seem to have some frame rate issues.
-
Frame rate issuesThe game has some serious frame rate issues
-
Reported frame rate issues do occur, but in my experience were rare and never put me in danger or interrupted the flow of the game for more than a moment
-
While it isn’t literally “perfect,” it has its occasional frame-rate issues, and the very occasional camera issue, it is, to me, as close to flawless
-
I've heard a lot of whining about the durability system, i.e. weapons and shields degrade and break as you use them
-
But still- if you find a really awesome weapon and it breaks (as they tend to do), there's no shop that will fix it, nor can you simply purchase a new one
-
The good news is that the game does have music at times; and each track they have that you hear in the game is amazing...just not nearly as plentiful as in other Zelda games
-
I tend not to heal as it means having to find more ingredients for healing items.
-
Thank you Nintendo for releasing this for the Wii U as well as for the Switch
-
This game rewards ingenuity and physics are represented very well (as well as you can in a video game at least).
-
Not a sharp as on the switch but still just as good.
-
n’t regret it.
-
I’m happy to again see the Gorons, the Zoras, Tingle, and other familiar character/s
-
The style feels reminiscent of Skyward Sword’s, which I also adored, but taken to the next level.

-
Great game, even on Wii U
-
Added note: scanning amiibo is also easier on the Wii U
-
The bad:Minor framerate issues (I'm on Wii U)
-
A stunning masterpiece that runs smoother on the Wii u than the Switch

-
I'm glad I got it now for my Wii U instead of waiting until I could afford a Switch
-
Its a little better on the Switch, but still worth a play on the Wii-U if you don't have a switch yet.
-
In terms of portability, and control options, the Switch version surpasses the Wii U, but the gyro controls on the Wii U are responsive, as opposed to the Switch's gyroscope, which is sluggish and delayed
-
It's sad that Windwaker HD and Hyrule Warriors look amazing on the Wii U but this game suffers drastically from some bad graphics implementations
-
Thank you Nintendo for releasing this for the Wii U as well as for the Switch
-
Conquering the 100+ shrines is amazing!+Wii U and Switch versions offer choice for the gamer
-
It's as if Nintendo is finally admitting that even THEY think the Wii U is underpowered
-
Beautiful and extremely well polished, even on the Wii U this game looks just as advanced as any you'd see on any of the current generation systems
-
I can see why nintendo took their time with this, I'm just glad they kept their promise and released it on the Wii U
