The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Wii U

    • Is not worst than Dark Souls 3 in Xbox One/PS4.
    • Just like that game, Breath of the Wild has redefined gaming, combining elements of Zelda with the open world of Skyrim, and the fighting like Dark Souls (it's tough fighting enemies in the beginning)
    • Even the combat can be stealthy or direct with whiffs of Dark Souls
    • I don't like Dark Souls, and Zelda shouldn't be like that
    • It's like they took the open-ended exploration of the Elder Scrolls series, the combat and a small fraction of the difficulty of Dark Souls, with the polish and charm of the previous Zelda games and smashed it together in one package.
    • Seeing the parry riposte reminded me of Dark Souls, and the back flip at the right time reminded me of Bayonetta’s Witch Time, so I felt certain this game will have all the elements that I’m looking for in an open-world game
    • The difference between this game and the rage-quit inducing Dark Souls series, by contrast, is that every one of these deaths were my fault and could be avoided (no spamming or failing to grind enough here)
    • It is pretty much a mix of Assassins Creed, Skyrim, Dark Souls, and Ocarina of Time
    • It's not Dark Souls hard, but some trail and error is required especially if you go against enemies that does high damage
    • A little Skyrim, a little Dark Souls, a little Assassins Creed, and a lot of Zelda
    • It's no Dark Souls there, fortunately
    • Enemies can easily kill you in this game; as Nintendo might have someone in their offices play some Dark Souls
    • I’m happy to again see the Gorons, the Zoras, Tingle, and other familiar character/s
    • The style feels reminiscent of Skyward Sword’s, which I also adored, but taken to the next level.
    • Great game, even on Wii U
    • Added note: scanning amiibo is also easier on the Wii U
    • The bad:Minor framerate issues (I'm on Wii U)
    • A stunning masterpiece that runs smoother on the Wii u than the Switch
    • A stunning masterpiece that runs smoother on the Wii u than the Switch
    • I'm glad I got it now for my Wii U instead of waiting until I could afford a Switch
    • Its a little better on the Switch, but still worth a play on the Wii-U if you don't have a switch yet.
    • In terms of portability, and control options, the Switch version surpasses the Wii U, but the gyro controls on the Wii U are responsive, as opposed to the Switch's gyroscope, which is sluggish and delayed
    • It's sad that Windwaker HD and Hyrule Warriors look amazing on the Wii U but this game suffers drastically from some bad graphics implementations
    • Thank you Nintendo for releasing this for the Wii U as well as for the Switch
    • Conquering the 100+ shrines is amazing!+Wii U and Switch versions offer choice for the gamer
    • It's as if Nintendo is finally admitting that even THEY think the Wii U is underpowered
    • Beautiful and extremely well polished, even on the Wii U this game looks just as advanced as any you'd see on any of the current generation systems
    • I can see why nintendo took their time with this, I'm just glad they kept their promise and released it on the Wii U
    • I’m happy to again see the Gorons, the Zoras, Tingle, and other familiar character/s
    • The style feels reminiscent of Skyward Sword’s, which I also adored, but taken to the next level.
