I prefer the original Resistance after playing Avalon with some friends

It's a good party game that adds different layers of complexity to an already great game (Resistance)

Resistance is so much fun and with all the possible added roles never gets old!

That's not to say The Resistance isn't fun (it is), but having played quite a few games of both, I prefer Avalon

We really enjoyed Resistance, this version offered a ton of new optional ways to play.

Simply put, this game is amazing and if you liked Resistance you owe it to yourself to pick this up

I loved Resistance and this is basically the same game with some additional optional add-ons

Nearly everyone we play with has gone home and bought Resistance as well, which says a lot.--For those of you who are trying to choose between this version and the original, I'd strongly recommend Avalon

If you like regular Resistance, you'll probably love this

If you like bluffing games like Bang, The Resistance 2, Mafia, etc, then be prepared to set those aside for this

And, the way the various voting cards and game pieces are designed is a significant improvement over the easy to confuse original Resistance set up

We play Resistance all the time, even though I hate it because I am accused of being the spy every round.
