At least I now know that if the Sims 3 for Wii is anything like this to not even bother, because obviously nothing will ever be as good as the PC version

I noticed a lot of reviews complaining that it's not as good as the PC version - well, there's a reason for that

The game works well.. even better than the PC version that is always causing her PC to freeze up.

But the options for this game were so incredibly limited and the graphics so poor that I felt like I was playing a truncated version of Sims 1 instead of Sims 3

I understand that there are limitations to what can be done with the memory on a DS card, but EA had done an excellent job of hyping the design freedom

You get a job, and progress through this job to get promotions, more money, and better

The Sims 1 did a better job of creating Sims that you actually wanted to look at while playing

There were many places to visit and Sims to hang out with!Getting a job was nice, but work consumed too much of the game and left little time for anything else

They incorporate skills, traits, lifetime goals, and aspiration awards as seen in other Sims games all to decent (but not stellar) effect

All the while of keeping your sim happy you earn these lifetime happiness points

For instance, you may choose to accept a workout routine, upon completion you will receive a bonus of 250 lifetime happiness points

You set a lifetime achievement goal, a few characteristics about your sim, and then get to choose you house

The karma powers are all locked, achieving higher Lifetime Happiness points seems to be what unlocks them

This is the best product of this type that I have ever purchased

I would recommend this product to anyone.

The main reason I hate this game is because it seems like the Sim is constantly needing to bathe, use the toilet or sleep.

But interactions were easy to direct and it was easy to keep my sim happy until I got bored with it

You can make your sim a criminal or shy, ambitous, hot headed, neat, slob and over 20 more traits 2 choose from

Also, the Sim worked for just two hours and ran down all bars.

I don't like this game because it's a lousy DS game

so I decided to get a new game for it so that he would know that I love my DS too and didn't want to get rid of it

The game may be pretty pixelated and has a lot of "jaggies", but you people need to understand the DS can't handle perfect, crisp graphics.9/10Sound

I am not sure why, my DS could have been hot, or the game was just overwhelmed

Sure, that's what Sims naysayers say about the franchise anyway--but the Sims is and can be so much more, and the Sims 3 DS fails to meet that "much more" potential by a long shot.

Thew new sims adds some interesting elements to it with the karma powers, but generally if you like the sims you'll like sims 3.however, I did not notice that the game is rated "E" for the nintendo DS, instead of "T" as it is for the consoles.

and I loved this as well the only thing I didn't was how many days it takes before you get baby Sims(about 200 days).

Well, I started zooming in to look for these "strange things" and I have only found 1 so far

The GUI is frustratingly unresponsive or mis-responsive at times--it usually takes multiple tries to do simple things like cancel an action or select a wish because the touch screen interface seems to think you're clicking on the ground half the time you're trying to tap an icon with the stylus

Well just one thing I hate about this game that it doesnt let you make a family, I have tried many times, but no because it is rated E but still little kids shouldnt play this game

You can make friends or enemies, boyfirends or girlfriends, you can shower, bathe, go pee, get married, eat, get a job,or stay unemployed, and over 1,000 other things
