The concept is great - hurray, we can FINALLY give our sims a little higher education! - and you get some nice clothes, hairstyles, and personality traits, but the actual gameplay of going to university is fairly dull, and there are multiple little annoyances that add up to make the experience a little tedious.

and I like seeing my sims do laundry and having a good moodlet when they wear clean clothes

I love the added Social Groups and the new options for clothing and hair

Just like the items, there are many new options of clothes, and for both genders.

She loves all the options the SIMS have in this addition.

and if you want those new cool options, plus a higher raise on your sims' jobs!

There's a lot of new items and cool options such as your sim being a blogger, having a new upgraded phone that looks like an iPhone, and being able to text other sims

The university life for your Sim when they grown to become a young adult is a great addition.

Excellent addition to the Sims 3 game I really enjoy this one.

I love the Sims and as a University student myself, of course, this was a necessary addition to my Sims' life

The Sims is such an amazing game, and I love all of the expansion packs for them

If you like your sims to be promiscuous, it's very easy to do so in University

** I had created fresh sims for this new EP so they were low on all skills.

Overall I think this expansion pack is wonderful and would recommend it to any die hard Sims 3 fun who wants to extend on their sim's education

This expansion pack is a lot of fun - you are able to move from the boring old Sims town, into the college town

My daughters play this now (in their senior year of highschool) and they love the fact that you have to actually graduate from a university in order to get a really good job in the game

I have enjoyed it for years and University is just as great as it was in TS2

One downside though is this expansion is a bit buggy (i.e. random flipping when walking through doors, pre-existing sims not possessing smartphones, persistent ringing/texts, etc)

I was relieved to see that the pack is much less buggy than Seasons--I use a Mac, and Seasons crashed almost every Sim day for the first few months I had it

There are some new hairstyles as well, though compared to the amount of new clothes and items this expansion pack contains it does seem to be lacking in hairstyles, of course nothing to make me dislike this expansion pack

Each group has a list of things you can do to gain influence (playing juice pong will earn you influence as a jock, for example), and the more you gain, the more rewards you'll unlock - including an extra trait, free items, or new interactions

University is a great expansion that offers some impressive new features

I will admit that this expansion is still fairly new, but already, some of it's features have messed up my game a couple of times

A lot of great features have been added, most notably the smartphone all Sims now have

I love the new features and It just makes Sims that more addictive.

I don't like this as

I appreciate that your Sim doesn't age (or go through a whole age bracket as per The Sims 2) while they're at school and that you can take your sweet time in sending them to and from college if you want

- There's so much you can do at university, but not nearly enough time to do it.

Overall as a sims lover and long time player, its great!

The only thing to help this is the random mascot who comes to visit every once in a while.-The game crashed twice the first two times I played it, with no warning and no error message

You spend too much time in class for a real university, where time in class should be short and at odd times, but the homework and studying required to do well should take longer

I was very excited about this because University in Sims 2 was so much fun, but this is a huge letdown

I haven't gotten the chance to really explore it, but I missed University on Sims 2, so I am happy to have the setting and options here.

I loved University from the Sims 2, but THIS is everything you could want and more

The universities though get boring after awhile, but it is good to have if you want to try it

Whenever I try to return to my home town, the game crashes

I see that people are having problems with the game crashing
