I only bought these strings after I read some positive reviews here on Amazon, but it seems I can't even get my guitar strung to hear the nice "warm" tones that some of the reviewers suggest

Here are my findings:Pros:*these strings are interesting and have a very robust low E (.059) on a light set

They might get boomy on a "Jumbo" (guild, etc.)So, if you're looking for strings that let your guitar sound like a guitar rather than a bunch of strings and wood, these are the ones to get.

In my opinion these are the best acoustic guitar strings you can buy

If you like having a percussive thump for Atkins or Emmanuel "boom-chick" type picking than you will likely love these as much as I do.*the B and high E are brass

I liked these, I've been having intonation issues lately with an old Guild Jumbo that I love, these seemed high in tension, but even and not overly bright, while still cutting through fairly well...

I ensured to condition the strings prior to stringing, Especially the second set, I took my sweet time so that I wouldn't have to waste another twenty-something dollars on strings
