I have to say that these are very sturdy, well made, and not only does he love the tambourine and maracas, he loves the other instruments as well

High-quality, bright strong colors doesn’t seem like it was chip Easily
The colors are vibrant and the instruments themselves are nice & noisy
I really liked the color and wood as part of it, wished there was more sound in the shakers instruments and a different fabric on the tambourine instead of paper, my granddaughter put all things in her mouth.
