Timex Full-Size Ironman Road Trainer Heart Rate Monitor

    • I recommend this for folks looking for a reliable, inexpensive, but very accuate heart rate monitor.
    • Since I don't use the zone training capabilities (I just want to be able to monitor my heart rate while working out), I didn't need to read the rather thick manual.
    • Heart rate is totally inaccurate at fitness center where I need it most, probably due to interference from other devices
    • A good heart rate monitor and watch for people into fitness but are not super serious athletes.
    • I had been using the respectable Polar RS100 Heart Rate Monitor and Stopwatch for a while
    • If that is my only issue I will continue to recommend it to others looking for an inexpensive heart rate monitor.
    • This Timex is a nice looking sports watch which also includes a heart rate monitor as well as a number of other features such as alarm, stop watch, interval timer, etc
    • I bought this watch to get my heart rate while I'm working out.
    • Accurate heart rate numbers.
    • Without thinking, I respond with the largest and, for me, most important display, my heart rate
    • When I received the watch, neither the heart rate nor backlight functions would work due to a nearly dead battery in the watch
    • All of the functions you would expect are available and work the same as in older models.
    • It can be worn as an every-day watch as well as for exercising.
    • Its simple to set up and there are not alot of buttons to confuse you as to what functions they control.
