Apparently they have recently disabled this feature, so if it comes back down the road, I will try to update my review to include it

I was not able to install this gate and because of this I'm using the easy return feature which I hope is easier than attempting to install this gate.

There are lots of clever design features though several are flawed due to poor execution.

We left the black piece that keeps the door from swinging both ways off, because it wasn’t really necessary since we are using it at the bottom of our stairway, but this would be an excellent feature for top of the stair use

The very best feature is that there is nothing to step over, you simply open the gate and walk thru it.

If it was used for small children, this is a good feature, but as our dogs haven't figured out latches yet, it would be nice to have an option making it easier for humans to open.

I noticed that the "easy swing & lock" feature was not working no matter what I did
