Terrible product, terrible product description, terrible installation steps

Installation was a little confusing and could benefit from more instruction

Overall it's a decent gate, but the installation was extremely frustrating

a better user and installation manual would go a long way, especially the screws that is used the for fine adjustment of the length of the gate.

This gate requires hard installation into a wall - on both sides.

Installing was horrible, I don’t understand the reviews stating easy installation.

It has mostly worked well, though in our application the installation was a touch more tricky as we have used it in a hallway, and there is a stud on one side of the hallway but not directly across on the other side of the hallway

does require very precise installation, i was off a tiny bit and it makes the bottom not close when the top does, but it works.

DON'T follow the instructions exactly, it's bizarre how much following them exactly can mess up the installation of a product that is going to be screwed into your doorframe

The gate can swing open in both directions and automatically engage with the locking mechanism though that mechanism does feel a bit flimsy though it does work when when the installation is tuned flawlessly (functional but not as robust as I would like).

However, the installation was a little tricky and the directions were kind of worthless in my opinion
