Wish these pieces were made of metal instead of cheap plastic
-
It's plastic and has broken less than 5 days into putting it up
-
I would've gladly paid more for it to have metal hardware instead of a cheap plastic
-
The plastic is cheap and when installing wouldn't hold one of the screws on the gate.
-
(see update above)On the positive side, it IS quite sturdy (plastic latches aside) and I am pretty sure that my dog won't chew her way through it
-
Basically have to break the plastic or warp the screw to take it off.
-
It felt sturdy after installation and even though the pieces are plastic, they are very sturdy plastic.
-
Somewhat difficult to install but this gate is very sturdy and is not cheap plastic material
-
Wooden ones broke, plastic ones too, or kept slipping or falling off
-
We had the cheap plastic ones before and these actually stay in place and aren't an eye-sore.
-
Screw on cheap plastic doesn't hold well and warps
-
The latching mechanism on this is made of cheap plastic.
-
Additionally, the latch piece that attaches to the banister is made of cheap plastic.
-
We installed at the top of our stairs to keep our big dog from going up there at times and it works perfect compared to the cheap wooden/plastic Gate
-
I was afraid plastic parts would be
-
I just hated the hard plastic hard ware
-
Strong plastic, but it would be better if they were also metal.
-
Not a bad product, but not as good as I was hoping.
-
I received no hardware to install the gate and I am shocked as to how that managed to happen
-
The pieces attaching to the wall broke as soon as it was secured to the wall
-
n’t suspect my grandson will be able to for a long time either
