We like the simple way it opens and it fit the top of the stairs well.
-
As well, the stopper feature to prevent the gate from swinging the wrong way is large and actually stops the gate, ours at home is a tiny pin that doesn't really work.
-
The gate is metal, but all the hardware (including the backstop that prevents the gate from swinging the wrong way) are plastic.
-
It is sturdy, but the way the gate closes is annoying and a hindrance
-
It takes a bit to get used to but for us, we're happy the way it operates
-
I like the way this looks but the latching system is not great in my opinion
-
The easiest way for me was to install the hinges and hang the gate
-
I like the way the gate adjusts in size better, the hinge mechanisms are better, and I LOVE the way it latches.
-
I love the way the gate looks
-
Also the paper they send you isn’t the best and easiest way to get the brackets put on level
-
This way you can use the traced templates for exact placement and not mess around with getting the paper template in the correct position.
-
I love the way it looks and the sturdiness of the gate into the wall
-
I like the way it looks and is modern.
-
The biggest issue I've found with this gate is that while it's pretty secure when closed correctly, it's a bit of a 'PITA' to close & if that top release button is pushed, it's WAY too easy to open either way
-
it is sturdy, my baby tested it by shaking it hard :DThe auto-closure feature does not work the way you think
-
I learned this the hard way and now have several mis-drilled holes in my pretty wall
-
If I was using it for kids, I would have returned as this is not a safe way to secure the gate
-
Not a bad product, but not as good as I was hoping.
-
I received no hardware to install the gate and I am shocked as to how that managed to happen
-
The pieces attaching to the wall broke as soon as it was secured to the wall
