    Toddy Cold Brew System

    • If you like the resulting coffee, get the Toddy System; if not, you've only wasted a pound of coffee.
    • They're noisy, messy and take forever to grind up 3 pounds of coffee beans.
    • But I like using the pound better, as you make coffee less often
    • You can basically try this method without the toddymaker: soak a pound of ground coffee in 9 cups of cold water for 12 hours, and strain/filter out 6 cups of coffee concentrate to mix with 3 parts hot water.
    • I think I have lost a pound or two just by cutting out the cream and sugar for two months!There is no better way to describe it than "smooth".
    • I have been making iced coffee off and on for a few years now by grinding up a pound of beans and mixing it up with water in a 1 gallon cambro container, letting it sit out for about 24 hours, then straining it with coffee filters in a wire mesh strainer.
