Well, I seldom return things and I don't give up easily, but I give up here - FIVE (5) days too late to return the Toddy

This thing holds up real well and is fun to use.

But probably one of the very best things for me about this system is that I have to cope with coffee grounds only once a week.

Basically the best thing ever for iced coffee

One of the best things about it is the glass jar comes with a cover so you can store the coffee in the fridge after it's brewed

Just be careful not to lose the little plug thing

The only thing that holds in the liquid is a little plastic stopper (daunting when you think about the amount of water sitting in this thing while it brews on your counter).

You can't fix crap and this thing will not make crappy coffee taste good/better

The great thing is that you can have it as strong or weak as you like by adding more water.

These do not normally come with the Toddy system; they are bought separately and are thought to be an optional product, but really they are the easiest thing to use and only thing you need!).2

The Toddy system is great, I make the most delicious, low-acid coffee in town!Only one thing, the plastic container gets brittle over time and cracks and breaks, it needs to be made of more resilient material.

ONE IMPORTANT THING: don't follow the instructions included as far as the technique for making the coffee, namely, 2 cups then 5 cups then 2 cups water added in stages

Two of my teenagers have also started drinking this coffee (not sure if that is a good thing or not)

why the heck do you need this thing?

The nice thing about making your own coffee syrup is that all you have to do is remember to mix it the night before you need it then you can drain out a cup full and let the mixture sit another 10 hours while you are gone during the day

When I used the 2-5-2 method, the thing would get clogged every single time, which is a real problem when you're dealing with a large quantity of coffee concentrate

I really think it is the best thing for iced coffee.

Other than that I love this thing!

The nice thing is that the concentrated coffee lasts for quite awhile in the fridge and you can completely control the strength of each individual coffee just by increasing/decreasing the concentrate to water mix.

The only thing I do not like about it the handle is flimsy and not permanently attached to the tub.

My only thing is that I had to double the recommended time for brewing as I like my coffee strong

The coffee isn't as strong as I norally like it, and more work then normal coffee.

when time to drain I have a mess

I can make each cup as weak or strong as I like

and I can have it as strong as I like.
