This is a great value for four basic (i.e. not fancy or particularly aesthetically pleasing) guitar wall mounts

Hangers work nicely, but the wall anchors that come with them are cheaply made and broke as soon as we tried installing them

Other than that they are built very well and are the best value for the price out there.

if your drywall has the same strength as mine; you'll have to make that call yourself).I'm not crazy about hanging them off of only drywall, so I have lightly modified them by opening up the screw holes by about 1/16" to accommodate Wall-Dog™ fasteners, which are specifically designed to secure items like these hooks directly to drywall and other materials without needing anchors

They come with 1.5" screws and drywall anchors, but I wasn't comfortable hanging heavier items on these hooks with the original hardware

I have purchased the more costly items of similar look from guitar stores online, and they are much better quality, albeit double the cost.

They are very sturdy and hold very well (otherwise I would not be allowing him to have two hanging over our headboard) and he trusts the quality enough to hang his $5,000 Gibson on one so that says a lot about the quality

I wouldn't trust the supplied drywall anchors to hold the weight though.

The anchors they provide work really well on drywall with no stud.

The hanger itself is fairly cheap, the drywall anchors are complete garbage, don't even waste your time using them

I would recommend buying better wall anchors to avoid have the guitar fall off the wall.

The guitar body does want to tap the wall if you hang it and let go abruptly, so if this is for a rough handler, put something soft on the wall behind the body.

The hooks are working well, and my guitars look awesome displayed in my entry way.

I am buying new hooks to replace them because I don't trust the metal to last long at all.

Tried a few different ones to make sure it wasn't a faulty hook and was starting to see the same reason now that I paid closer attention.

The mounts are fine but they came with cheap aluminum screws that break when you try to drill them in

The first one failed when the mounting screw heads sheared through the cheap plastic body of the hanger

Good hangers for the price, but throw away the cheap plastic anchors that come with this and go down to Lowe's to get a couple packs of metal self drilling drywall

The plastic is not too hard or too light: it does not seem as though it would easily crack or go brittle with time
