    • With this hot kettle, the water will smell like plastic
    • Biggest complaint is the fact that unless one pours exceptionally slow, hot water splashes all over the place
    • It looks nice on the counter & most importantly, the lid is lined with stainless steel so no plastic is is in contact with the hot water.
    • Definitely a plus at the office to boil water.

    • After searching through several pages on Amazon for a kettle that would provide a truly plastic-less hot water experience, I suspect that the only kettles available are the ones where the underside of the lid is completely stainless steel, and those tend to be the ones where the lid comes off entirely (as opposed to being attached via a hinge mechanism.)
