This 1 TB Toshiba Canvio Slim II drive is nice looking and pretty fast

Cheaper and better looking than similar hard drives on Amazon

I build computers and custom work and this is a good buy for backups or holding songs movies ect

Google for a better backup software program (there are free options out there.)

Sometimes with a non-Apple product it can be difficult to reformat the programs for them to work smoothly

Nice build quality, but it not hard to scratch, so it should have rubber bumps on the bottom so it wouldn't be touching the table, and thus scratching it

I gave this hard drive a 5 star review because of its great construction, quality, and high speed transfer rates

and then with no fees very happy with SAMS club don't waste your time and money you can get this at best buy for the same price you don't have to wait for it or pay any fees if it breaks or you simply don't like it because of its ridiculous slow speed.

It has performed perfectly well on a USB3 port and gives reasonable speed.

The speed of the file transfer is amazing and works really well.

GREAT Hardware but SOFTWARE that is bundled with it is ANCIENT

The only negative is the Backup software that comes with it (NTI Backup Now EZ)

P.S. Format the drive before you use it - the Toshiba software it comes with is bloatware (garbage) - it will harm your computer!
