    • Highly recommend getting the NVR, that will be our next purchase in that case we will hard wire in hopes of a more accurate live feed
    • more often you have to hard wire into it to set it up
    • You will need to hard wire into it using a cat 5 Ethernet cable for the most worry free set up though
    • I guess it works best as an extension for our hard wire needs
    • Using for a hard wired ethernet connection on the other side of my house, and does not hold a consistent connection
    • so if you have an extended location with its own cabling, or gigabit switch, you can piggy back the network and have hard wired capabilities in the new location
    • Wi-Fi band on an older laptop than the Category 6 10/100BASE-T Ethernet (RJ-45) cable hard wired.
    • It would be nice if you could plug an ethernet cable into it to boost the signal, but it can't do that, it has an ethernet jack, but that is to use for devices that are hard wire only.
    • Easy to install and my speed jumped to around 140mbps for my hard wired PC though all of my WiFi linked electronics picked up a lot of speed
    • I purchased this device to extend my WiFi range and to have a file share desktop computer "hard wired" into the port on the side.
    • It has my security cameras linked to the hard wire connection and streaming the feed is flawless in HD.
    • No too happy doesn't work as I though it will.
