I had to register all my devices in some highly convoluted process, which requires you to put this stupid app on your phone, and to cap it off, the customer service is the pits
The install using TP's Tether app from my iPhone worked but not without a few missteps--a failure to connect to the router at first using the 5G SSID worked once I tried with the 2.4G.
Setup was easy, and the mobile app is works with no problems
With the free App, it was easy to set up and get connected!

The interface is very comprehensive, but easy to understand.
Setup went perfectly until I got to parental controls, the interface is confusing, overly complicated, and not intuitive, help from the built in feature as well as the downloaded manual were useless

(I'll take that for a device that works!)I like this model because it's open architecture, and I can install another rom if I choose.
First the 2.4 radio failed occasionally, then both radios eventually failed
I try to get a not so expensive router and for what I need it is okay, but be aware the 2.4 Ghz is not so fast, even if you adjust the antenna, the channel or make any possible modification, since most of my devices does not have 5 Ghz radio I have to use the 2.4 radio and splitting the already not so fast signal it can be frustrating.

It's a known issue, and TP-Link Support hasn't offered any solution
I would just beware as this is a known issue with this TP-LINK

A reset cleared it for several minutes and then it would revert to the same behavior.
Was great have to do a hard reset out of the box to use the app and change password but tech support was awesome and easy through the chat function on the app.
Not sure what caused that, but a simple reset fixed the issue
Then, came off this switch with patch cables to other smart tv’s on end of house that sits opposite internet modem

Sometimes it would say I was connected to wifi but the internet connection would drop (while wired devices worked fine) and other times it would just lose the wifi connection until I reset the router
And the fact that I couldn't get help other than to re-install my old router just to get an internet connection is ridiculous!

I've been using this router for 5 days now and so far it has remained consistent the entire time
First time I ordered two of these and the product works as advertised and arrived in two days
My devices will stop playing music all the time because it looses single
Several times I swapped back in the old TP-Link router I had, to see if I had a router problem or a Spectrum problem and each time the old router was hooked up, I had no problem after two days of use.
This did not work each time I tried to use it you would have to reset it each time.
