TP-Link AC1750 Smart WiFi Router - Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router for Home, Works with Alexa, VPN Server, Parental Control&QoS(Archer A7)

    • Our previous router was having issues with keeping devices connected, which prompted us to finally purchase a new router
    • The firmware upgrade wiped out all of the settings I had created and basically started it off like it was a fresh device, with some unknown password.
    • Great device for the money and basic user
    • Setup controls to limit kids devices after 10pm on school nights but devices remain active on the network
    • This is a 5-port unmanaged switch which means it is a passive device that requires nothing more than plugging ethernet cables into it for use.
    • This device easily expands the number of ports on the back of your cable modems and routers.
    • In the description of the product, there is neither a single word that mentioned the device has scratch nor mentioning the product is used.
    • Have had absolutely no issues connecting all my devices to it.
    • Definitely recommend this router as this is one of the most reliable and performant device in this price range.
    • Once I'm satisfied with its performance and reliability I'll switch the mode and put it online in place of the D-LinkI see little to no value in the "cloud" (remote management) aspect of this device as I don't like to have "forward accessible" devices on my network.
    • No more problems with devices loosing internet connection.
    • With my old TP-Link router I was able to throttle speeds of certain IP addresses to whatever speed I wanted which made the internet accessible to anyone who came over and didn't let bandwidth hungry devices like streaming boxes make everyone visibly upset
    • They replaced it with QOS (Quality of service), this allows you to limit all connected devices to a Specific Speed and you can "Prioritize" Certain Devices to receive that speed over other devices, but there is not an advanced version of this to set different speeds for each device
    • Many devices need that cat 5 connection and won't work on WIFI so if you can run the cable you can extend your internet access
    • I feel this device is well worth the $50 I spent
    • It worked fine with newer portable electronic devices, just not with my older laptop, which is where I needed it most
    • Plug your ethernet cord in and supply 4 more ethernet ready devices
    • After about 2 months, the whole device crapped itself and I'm dealing with >60% packet loss
    • my house have a lot smart device already,in future,we will have more, they all need good WiFi to working, this route can drive up to 50 device!
    • Handles all my smart devices (30+) when working properly
    • Handles all my smart devices (30+) when working properly
    • Using the app, you can rename your network, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and link smart devices to your router
    • Pretty close to a much more expensive device
    • All my devices working flawlessly now
    • So far I have five smart devices, three computers, an xbox, and a smart TV connected to the WiFi and have yet to experience any lag
    • It has served two smart TVs, a gaming pc, two work desktops, and our mobile devices admirably.
    • Very easy to set up and supports all my devices easily and fast.
    • so many devices, TVs, game consoles...works perfect.
    • Reconnected my two laptops, two desktops, and seven streaming media devices to the network and everything works - just much faster than before.
    • When it froze only the wireless devices wouldn't connect to the internet but anything hard wired was still connecting.
    • It supports several devices being used at once.
    • A good WiFi device
    • Every device is working perfect.
    • I installed several smart devices with different aps in my condo and became concerned I may open my network to hacking
    • That does actually seem to work, and yes it does have to be 20+ minutes, however I can't recommend a networking device with that kind of down time especially since there's no identifiable cause of the outage
    • My laptop work with any other and the device works with all except this one
    • With the advent of popular streaming devices and services, as well as "smart" devices, this is going to continue to increase.
    • The device set-up was flawless.
    • Very good device works very well with my 1gig of internet speed and very stable.
    • Very good device works very well with my 1gig of internet speed and very stable.
    • So multiple devices do not work with this router as reported.
    • I have Alexa and several smart devices linked to this router
    • My devices will stop playing music all the time because it looses single
    • I installed all of the smart home devices on the guest band keeping them out of my network
    • I would recommend this device for anyone.
    • I never see data drops on streaming now, and all the smart devices are available when needed.
    • This device works great and they barely talk about the best part about this item, the app!!
    • It allows you to be connected to 5ghz while controlling smart home devices that only work on 2.4ghz without switching networks
    • Perfect little device to allow my roommate and I to use wired connection since the dsl moden from frontier sucks so much.
    • It appears that it could not support the 20 devices we were now using with it
    • Supports multiple devices in use simultaneously without skipping a beat.
    • We have a number of smart home devices, and this router does a terrible job or keeping them straight
    • Over the last 4-6 months this device has randomly lost its communication with our modem about a dozen times
    • Slow device, speed test through the router was 10.4mbps versus plugging directly into the cable which gave me a 125mbps speed
    • I strongly recommended not only a different device, but a different company who helps and appreciates it's customers.
    • Supports more devices at higher speeds.
    • Device is affordable and works as promised
    • This device limits the internet speed but still works well
    • Good device
    • I installed this in my entertainment center for all my smart devices, consoles, etc and it works great
    • I thought it was a good device based on the Amazon user
    • This device doesn't seem to like to stay connected through Ethernet to my desktop PC
    • The device itself really great the interface really easy to setup and to use
    • Love this wifi router way more stronger then my last one and download the app for it which you have more features like block a device on your wifi see who all on your wifi and more .
    • Echo devices and lights would not respond all the time and web pages would freeze for 3-4 seconds every few minutes
    • I can't recommend this device to anyone that needs over 250 Mbps from their service provider
    • It has a strong signal, we have more than 12 devices online and works perfect for all of them.2.4/5 GHz support is great if you have smart devices like plugs or light switches (they only work on 2.4 GHz)Integration with IFTTT and Amazon Alexa works great.
    • The WiFi covers my house well and supports my smart home devices well.
    • Have two devices connected, no issues.
    • Device has performed well
    • Excellent router and very convenient to split you devices
    • This device limits the internet speed but still works well
    • Oh, dusty old D-Link router
    • (I'll take that for a device that works!)I like this model because it's open architecture, and I can install another rom if I choose.
    • Though I don't see an improvement in speed, it's still fast as I
