    • Basically, now that we have this Wifi extender, we can reap the full speed of the Wifi network where before, our poor signal was giving us a slow speed and intermittent connection drops.

    • Worse speeds from TP-Link extender than the host router in the basement
    • I bought this extender because my desktop is at the very edge of the WiFi range (1 bar with occasional 0 and 2 bars). So, since I would prefer not to have cables running through the house, I decided to buy this extender to stabilize the WiFi connection (preferably above 2 bars on the regular). Now that that is out of the way, here is the issue I came across:Even though I was now getting full bars on the connection and able to pick up both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands instead of just the 2.4 GHz band, my down speeds became 20 Mbps for the 2.4 GHz and 34 Mbps for the 5 GHz and would not improve past a 5 Mbps increase for either
    • I did not lose any speed, despite my mesh router being pretty robust when it came to that.
    • Very fast speeds as you can tell from the picture quick link up.

    • You could literally stand right next to it and not get decent internet speed out of it
    • The speed has been awesome and the integration into our network was simple
    • Speed was very good.
    • Needed an upgrade for my wifi extender as my previous one had terrible internet speed

    • Purchased theTP-Link AC2600 WiFi Extender, Up to 2600Mbps, Dual Band WiFi Range Extender and we have lightning fast speed all through the house.
    • I get good signal strength and speed for about 50 feet from the extender
    • My 5Ghz speed almost doubled with this extender, 2.4Ghz speed stayed the same but signal was improved
    • It slowed my internet speed to the point where normal web pages wouldn’t load
    • Before using this extender I was only getting 1-2 Mbps speeds in my room which is on the opposite side of the house from the router, now I enjoy speeds of at least 40 Mbps and sometimes even 80 Mbps
    • I was able to connect to the wifi from the router, but the speed is horrible
    • If your line-of-sight is much clearer or have high speed internet - test 5Ghz and maybe you can enjoy the superior speeds
    • It seems to extend the range of my wifi signal a bit, but it's speed is horrendous
    • None of these are bad speeds but due to circumstances of where I need WiFi in the house, the modem/router can't just sit on my desk
    • Easy set up and improved our WIFI speed and range
    • I placed this on the first floor in the middle of the house and now the entire house, both floors, has great signal and speed
    • Amazing products, the 5g signal was very weak in my master bedroom and now is full signal with super speed.
