The design and packaging are very nice and looks good on my desk.
I like the conservative design that TP-LINK went with including the non-obtrusive LED indicators.
The design is very sleek (doesn’t look like a spider or spaceship) and fits in fairly well with my home entertainment unit
This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK as part of the review program.”Greetings, I've had the opportunity to evaluate a wireless dual band router with MU-MIMO technology, the Archer C2600When I opened the box for the first time, I noticed how clean and well designed it was presenting a simplistic, attractive aesthetic appearance, but offering advanced technology, it has a black shiny finish, four sturdy antennas, two 3.0 USB ports, and four available Ethernet ports
I like the conservative design that TP-LINK went with including the non-obtrusive LED indicators.
**(incorrect as it must have been added in new firmware) - No ability to release and ip address to an ISP
On a side note, you have to angle the two antennas on either side outwards (roughly 70 degrees) for optimum coverage.*Since it uses beamforming technology, it has the ability to transmit targeted Wi-Fi signal to individual devices, instead of transmitting randomly of the air.*It has a great and simple web interface
It provides excellent coverage for a 2,500+ sqft house, comes with a great user-friendly app and a nice interface to work with
The only positive I can find in this is the easy setup and great interface, after that it has been all downhill

Aside from the hardwire connections being slow the wifi is great on this router.

I have had no problems & fast wifi & not disconnecting, Great product

Easy to setup- Very strong WiFi all over the house and outside.- Very flexible with lots of settings- Wireless and Wired connections are all very fast.
For now I almost don't trust these reviews and should have paid attention to these kinds of reviews before I purchased this
(TEW-827DRU) has a similar one with a good price point and good review
Has None! All in all this is by far the best wireless router I have reviewed.
Linksys seems to be a few bucks cheaper but overall reviews don't look as good
I also believe the positive reviews are bias and most likely by paid reviewers (I happen to have a friend that makes a living doing reviews for companies like this).
Not had any issues sinceI own a fire hd10 which has bad connections- if it connects directly to the wifi 2.4 ghz without going thru the extender it never drops the connectionif you are getting poor performance when using the extenders that means you need to check if the router needs to be upgraded since the wireless provider may have upgraded the hardware on their end- failing that you need to buy bigger bandwidth
Easy to set up and great performance make this the best bet for upgrading your Wi-fi network.
I was actually able to set-up an in-home hadoop storage cluster over wifi very simply and get decent performance
They are easy to set-up, has good performance, and are generally compatible with the open source OpenWRT router firmware
Easy setup, improved performance over the ISP provided router
The only word of caution to people is that not every device is capable of a 5Ghz connection, so when your device fails connect, do NOT return this item before trying to connect that same device at 2.4GHz.
This means that when the router is connected to a compatible device, of which there are currently few, it uses several of the antennae to broadcast a wireless signal at the same time to that device
However, this router offers the promise of getting better with time as more 802.11 ac and MIMO compatible devices enter the house.
During the time I have used the router, I have never had to reboot it or mess with cables, and since I used the same network name and password as on my other router, all my devices connected just fine
-1 star since I'm still not sure how well it handles multiple bands active, might try setting up guest network for slower devices and see if that helps
An important feature for me is the ability to block the internet on my laptop at certain times.
Very cool feature is that old Tech sees ONLY the 2.4 and the
**(incorrect as it must have been added in new firmware) - No ability to release and ip address to an ISP
is a great feature as opposed to my verizon box that only backed up to memory, useless when doing a firware upgrade unless they kept it intact which I never found out
While some features like web traffic monitoring aren't available, the most useful features are all there including options like VPN (which I did not use in my testing). All of the LAN ports and the WAN port are gigabit ports for those looking to wire things and maximize their speed potentials, in case the Wi-Fi speeds of up to 2533Mbps aren't fast enough.
I've had no issues whatsoever, no rebooting, a consistent signal, and no dropped networks
Junk....requires a daily reboot ....wont buy another TP-Link router ....for the price I shouldnt have to flash it with open source firmware in hopes of getting it to
After a few days, a reboot was required to refresh the 5G connection and get it working again
A reboot of the phone doesn't solve the issue, but a reboot of the router does
