    • There must be about 100 feet and a house wall between my laptop and the wireless router in her house and this antenna boosted my reception from 1/5 bars to 2/5 bars, which was all I needed to go from rough, broken connection to smooth connection with the ability to stream video and music no problem.
    • It's got the detachable antenna for plugging in to an external antenna

    • high gain antenna for the router to improve the reliability enough to guarantee a good connection at this distance
    • Pros:The white plastics for the RT8188 chip are vaguely attractiveHas an external antenna; offers an illusion of performanceThere is a cap to keep the dirt out the port when not in use, which is oftenCons:Very poor driver support from the vendor: zero effort to package a driver on the package; outdated driver on their download siteNo built-in support in the kernel in RHEL or CentOS: had to download and compile driver from independent internet sourcesUnreliable when there is driver support
    • The antenna is a bit annoying because it sticks out, but otherwise no complaints.
    • So that extra antenna is sort of worthless really

    • It's cheap, supports packet injection, is portable, and supports switching out antennas!
    • This antennae has made it so much easier to connect and stay connected to WiFi networks and to get higher speeds too
    • gets a better signal, making me question if my antenna is the issue or if its the entire device.
    • It also protrudes a lot and the antenna can be a bit annoying.
    • Works great for windows, detachable antenna
    • NO major ones except the little stubbie antenna provided didn't give me quite enough range to make my situation workable but in trying differing spare antennas I had as extras from an earlier device I found that a 'Mid Sized' antenna say a 6 inch worked rather well as it brought in weak areas better like my garage say, Whereas my long or 12 inch just brought in too much static, Plus other peoples printers too and thats a big
