My router is upstairs and my office is downstairs, I get great reception...no complaints.

One star is docked because this card doesn't have great signal reception, but it's good enough for my purposes.

The days of moving the USB adapter around in hopes of better reception are over.

Signal reception is outstanding and the antennas are relatively low profile for their size

The reception is very good, but again, make sure your router has good range

It doesn't get better reception than the USB adapter that I had beforehand, but I do get more Mbps

They were all highly rated but suffered equally from poor reception and, worse, slow data speeds with frequent downtime (no link)

Works good but the reception is not the best, I bought also a USB wifi adapter and reception is much better.

With a TP-Link access point across my house, the best reception I could get was 3 out of 5 bars

you will get better reception and potentially higher data rates.

My 2 year old actually snapped the antenna off almost immediately after install, but I just hot-glued it back on and the reception is still great.

if you replace the antennae with a longer one you can get better reception.

My crappy $10 usb got almost perfect 5ghz reception and this couldn't even get 1 bar even from 6 ft away
