I love the speed

(As noted by the port light on the router)I noticed some negative reviews that said they weren't getting the fast speed, what was it before you put the card in

However, this card is 20% slower, and speed tests indicate speeds of between 60-80 Mbits/s, as compared to my previous consistent speed of 105 Mbits/s.

The speed is much faster than the on on the main board.

IT is very easy install to my Win8.Some time ,up stream speed unstable

LAN was not providing fast speeds even though I have gigabit internet.

The pros: it's relatively cheap, easily hooks into the PCI slot on my Asus motherboard, it allows for faster speeds than some cards

You can boost your download speeds dramatically but that is to do with the plan you adopt from your ISP

So I switched to cabled connectivity and the good news is that I now have consistent and high speed throughput

Even if you have nothing wrong and you are getting slow speeds or you have a PCI card and not a PCIE card get this TP-Link now!.

Great card but the slow PCI bus in my old computer limits my download speed to 200meg.

They work, but the speed isn't as good as it should be

These things are cheap and the speeds are impressive.

Worked like a dream form the outset and has boosted my online speed marginally

Quick install, no problem with drivers, restored great network speed after the old nic went bad.

I plugged it in to an open slot, followed the quick installation directions, and within minutes had a working connection with speeds better than what I had with the old motherboard connector.

My internet is now running at blazing fast speed!

Realtek chips (which is what this card uses) are also known to throttle your speeds.

Improved transfer speeds to NAS.

I would recommend this product to those who are upgrading older desktops, or people who are looking for faster network speeds for a desktop with a motherboard that does not have an on-board gigabit NIC.

I had less than stellar transfer speeds because it only has a 5,400 rpm HDD.

Long PCI-E slots are backwards compatible with shorter ones, so this card should fit comfortably in any PCI-E slot just fine
