TP-Link N300 WiFi Range Extender with External Antennas and Compact Design (TL-WA855RE)

    • I have two channels set up, one for faster AC devices and one for
    • Customer service is not a strong suite and they were unwilling to refund the faulty device.
    • Basically I’m tired of the amount of work it takes to get this “effortless” device to work
    • All my devices just happened to break
    • Customer service was horrible in replacing a defective device.
    • It broadcasts both 2.4gHz and 5gHz networks and gives you the option to connect to whichever one you please-depending on if your device is compatible
    • Great device for areas where WiFi is weak...
    • This device has been AMAZING!
    • These devices worked great on our old router which was 6 or 7 year old belkin
    • Device failed after 7 months of use.
    • Device failed after a little more than 30 days
    • In my opinion the device doesn’t work for me
    • Placed in our downstairs family room it works perfect grabs the signal from upstairs & runs all our streaming devices just fine .
    • Most of my Smart devices won't connect to it, which is the reason i bought it, and although they work fine with my router alone i thought they could work better if i boosted the signal, but did not do the job
    • Highly recommend buying this $17 device over spending $49 for the Ring Chime Pro being sold.
    • Device seemed to work for a while again until the signal was lost
    • This device has met and exceeded my expectations
    • My wifi works better without this cheap device sadly.
    • I have try resetting the device several times a week and it works for only 2 hours and needs to be reconfigured
    • Terrible device
    • I was tempted to just pull the trigger on a mesh or one of those that takes the wifi signal from the power outlet but this little 20 device did the trick!
    • This is an amazing little device at an excellent price
    • It is 2.4G only, and can be overrun if you are streaming video, so you may want to limit the other devices that connect to the extender.
    • This device has been awesome for getting WIFI into my promaster
    • It can get very annoying due to its many disconnects, perhaps I have a faulty device?
    • This device is not user friendly and would not function with my internet provider
    • Downstairs finally had good signal and it even helped get a better signal in the living room on the floor above where I installed this great little device.
    • Per specification the device should support up to 300Mbps download speed, but I'm getting only fraction of it
    • The device worked exactly as advertised
    • In my case using it for smart home connectivity it is in fact dangerous for it to drop the 5G connection and shut down all my smart home devices until the router is manually rebooted which is impossible to do away from home as far as I know
    • it's my fault for not doing a closer reading, but in my opinion the device isn't powerful enough for most modern users' expectations.it's super easy to set up by following the provided instructions, taking maybe fifteen minutes
    • Great device for the price
    • The device crashed my network twice
    • It would probably work better with Ethernet cable connected to it to extend the network by creating a new WiFi for the living room but definitely not an idle device for wireless signal boosting attempt
    • Confused devices while keeping same wifi name and password
    • I did not like the idea of wifi range extender with the antennas outside, but this small device is easy to set up and very reliable
    • This is a relatively inexpensive device that has lived up to expectations.
    • Once installed this device works like a charm
    • I had all my smart devices hardwired using multiple routers prior to this purchasee but the range and speed on this is so good I can remove the extra hardware and free up clutter through out my apt.
    • This device works very well
    • TP-Link's app for managing the device is excellent, and i'm very likely to buy from them again.if you're looking to create a second connection for one device (like a cell phone) or one person (like a child or young teen
    • This device promised to provide 300Mbps but it does not
    • As soon as I plugged it in and connected all our devices well its great! The ATT Uverse DSL Modem
    • This device is great
    • Great device
    • I had reset the WPS on the router in order to troubleshoot another issue, and that left all the devices in our house unable to connect
    • Excellent WiFi extender device
    • This device is adequate to the purpose, giving us three bars in those previously weak areas
    • Customer service is not a strong suite and they were unwilling to refund the faulty device.
    • Anyone who has multiple smart devices, multiple people sharing wifi, gaming devices, loss of internet in certain areas or any reason to need a better Wi-Fi signal needs one of these.
    • This little device is much more powerful than expected so it defintely deserves my 5 stars.
    • This stopped working after 2 months, my devices can connect to it but no Internet access
    • The device was a waste of my money and time.
    • .. the Hargray tech told me to purchase this device so glad I did
    • Although this device is super easy to set up and it worked great for the 1st couple months.
    • Supposedly I have a strong Wi-Fi signal but is a very weak Device.
    • Still have wifi issues, devices still lose connection even with extender.
    • Anyhow we have smart devices that would keep disconnecting from our AT&T Router (SMART Speakers)
    • Good connection to devices with excellent speed
    • For the past year, devices would randomly have issues, especially on the 5GHZ band.
    • In addition, this device isn't good at finding a wifi signal to extend
    • So, if you want to use a phone or a laptop and move freely around the home hoping this device will make your life a bit smoother - don't buy this junk
    • I recommend this device for those with families of children not yet using very high bandwidth gaming devices, especially if you have bought the average or normal internet plans from your provider.
    • Connection would hang frequently - device was connected but progress bar would move part way and then stop.
    • All devices work at least as well and some much, much better; after experiencing the smooth, fast performance of the Netgear router, I would never want to use this TP-Link router.
    • I had a problem with my home "smart" devices until I realized that for them to connect to my smartphone, they have to be in "host" mode (because they need to talk to each other which is prohibited in "guest" mode). The router works best with one antenna vertical, one at 45 deg, and the last horizontal
    • This device was pretty easy to install and worked great for about a week
    • To work around this I moved all my smart home devices to 2.4G to hopefully have a reliable connection
    • Other than this, A++++++ Our devices work super speedy
    • Has supported 10 devices without a problem
    • Device works as advertise.
    • Lower need devices like Xbox, Cell phones, and weaker laptops will receive the signal very well, and stronger/powerful devices will still hit high upload speeds
    • Best device
    • this is a rock solid device
    • I suggest downloading the free "Tether" app after setup for a more user-friendly way to customize the router (2.4G/5G, disabling certain devices, etc).
    • This device is very affordable, and it does work.
    • I'm dedicating the 2.4 Ghz to guests and smart devices and reserving the 5 Ghz for heavier demand items like the Smart TV, Roku and Spectrum wifi streaming
    • This device is N rather than AC speed, like our main router
    • Went back to my old reliable D-Link router for now.
    • I bought this unit for over $100.00 to replace a much slower D-Link.
    • But It’s not as good as I thot
